Russians destroy pharmaceutical plant in Sumy; employee killed

On October 4, a Russian attack destroyed the KUSUM pharmaceutical plant in the city of Sumy and killed a company employee.

The victim was an employee who worked in the plant’s engineering department.

The company’s press service stated that it is currently assessing the extent of the damage. Its priorities remain the safety of people, support for employees, and ensuring that Ukrainian patients receive necessary medicines.

The firm continued operations even after a warehouse was destroyed. Although the Sumy plant has been destroyed, KUSUM continues to operate for the sake of the people who need medication every day.
