Russians dropped explosives from a drone in the Kherson region – a woman died

In the village of Poniativka, Kherson region, Russian military dropped explosives from a drone. A woman died as a result of the attack

As reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Oleshkiv District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of committing a war crime that led to the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the report says.

According to the investigation, on May 8, 2025, at about 5:00 p.m., Russian troops once again attacked civilians using a drone.

“As a result of dropping explosives from a drone on one of the streets of the village of Poniativka, a woman died,” the department added.
