The Russian military committed another war crime by shooting three servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This happened in the area of Velyka Novoselka in the west of the Donetsk region.
This is evidenced by reports from the analytical project DeepState and the Prosecutor General’s Office.
On January 6, DeepState analysts stated that the Russians shot three Ukrainian servicemen near the village of Neskuchne.
According to OSINT analysts, the incident occurred on January 3. The victims of the occupiers were servicemen of the 141st separate infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The fighters surrendered, their hands were tied, they were taken out in front of the position and shot with shots in the back of the head,” DeepState reported.
The Prosecutor General’s Office reported the start of an investigation into the shooting of three captured servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On December 23, 2024, the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a video with Russian soldiers, in which they are ordered to shoot civilians in the occupied part of the Luhansk region.
And on December 22, it became known that in the area of Velyka Novoselka, Donetsk region, the Russians shot a group of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who had laid down their weapons and surrendered.
