Russians fired twice on rescuers in Zaporizhzhia: a service car was damaged

Russian troops opened fire on rescuers working at the scene of a fire in one of the settlements of Vasylivka district of Zaporizhzhia region. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Firefighters went to eliminate the fire that broke out as a result of Russian shelling. During the work, the state emergency service unit came under repeated artillery fire from the Russian army.

No personnel were injured. As a result of the attack, a fire truck was damaged, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said in a statement.

Later, the State Emergency Service clarified that the Russians deliberately struck the rescuers again. As a result, the State Emergency Service vehicle burned to the ground.

Russia systematically shelled the territories of Zaporizhzhia region, endangering civilians and emergency workers.
