In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, Russian troops are increasing ideological pressure on young people, using cultural and educational institutions for this purpose.
According to the Center for National Resistance, another event to militarize consciousness took place in the Shyrokivskyi village club, where schoolchildren were given lectures on “combating terrorism”.
The Russian administration officially positions such events as ordinary safety lessons for the younger generation.
However, in reality, these classes are part of a systemic policy of Russification aimed at the complete destruction of Ukrainian identity in children and adolescents.
During the lectures, aggressive propaganda narratives are imposed on children, where Ukraine and any manifestations of Ukrainian culture are presented as a “terrorist threat”.
The Russians are trying to instill loyalty to Russian ideology, replacing real facts with fictional enemies.
Through a network of schools, clubs, and various extracurricular groups, the invaders are trying to completely change the worldview of young Ukrainians.
Such actions are a gross violation of international law, since the militarization of children in occupied territories is prohibited by the Geneva Conventions.
Systemic brainwashing aims to create a generation that will be loyal to the aggressor country and will perceive the Russian occupation as the norm.
“The Russians are trying to change the worldview of children, to replace their ideas about their own country,” the Center for National Resistance emphasizes.
