Russians have begun to attack mobile communication towers in Sumy and Chernihiv regions more often

In addition to attacks on infrastructure, Russians are using drones for remote mining. Russians have begun to hit mobile communication towers in the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions more often. These attacks are aimed at complicating the work of Ukrainian communications and intelligence facilities and slowing down data transmission.

Attacks on communication towers also help Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups operate in border areas.

It is indeed easier for “shaheeds” to fly where there are no towers. Further on the territory of Ukraine, these strike UAVs will be suppressed or destroyed by other defense units, as well as electronic warfare. But attacks on communication towers simplify the task of strikes in Chernihiv or Sumy regions themselves.

In addition, Russians are using drones for remote mining. In particular, in Novgorod-Siverskyi, residents were warned about the danger of being in the forests near the city, as anti-personnel mines of the “butterfly” type may be scattered there.
