Russians hit a gas station in Kharkiv with an FPV drone – five people were injured

On the afternoon of July 22, a Russian FPV drone attacked the territory of a gas station in the Nemyshlyanskyі district of Kharkiv, injuring five workers. A fuel dispenser was destroyed in the city, and three women and two men were among the injured. All were diagnosed with acute stress reactions.

Under the procedural leadership of the Nemyshlyanskyі District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been launched. According to the investigation, the territory of a gas station in the Nemyshlyanskyі district of the city was attacked. Prosecutors, together with police investigators, are currently documenting another violation of the laws and customs of war committed by Russian servicemen.

“According to the investigation, on the afternoon of July 22, Russian military personnel attacked the territory of a gas station in the Nemyshlyanskyв district of Kharkiv with an FPV drone. As a result of the strike, a fuel dispenser was destroyed. Five gas station employees were injured – three women and two men. All of them were diagnosed with acute stress reactions,” the report says.

The Nemyshlyanskyі district of Kharkiv, like other border districts of the city, regularly suffers from attacks by FPV drones due to its proximity to the front line and the Russian border. Such attacks are mostly directed at civilian and business infrastructure – gas stations, shops, residential buildings, which the prosecutor’s office records as war crimes.
