Russians hit a minibus and a car in Donetsk region: two people died

On June 12, Russian troops attacked a minibus and a civilian car in Donetsk region with FPV drones. Two people were mortally wounded.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Thus, at about 10:40, Russian troops attacked the village of Illinivka, Kramatorsk district, with an FPV drone. As a result of the strike, a pensioner who was near a public transport stop died. The driver and a passenger of the bus were also injured.

Two hours later, the Russians hit a passenger car with an FPV drone in the village of Mykolaypillya, Druzhkiv community. As a result of the shelling, a man died, and two more civilians were taken to the hospital with mine-explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds and abrasions.

“Under the procedural leadership of the Kramatorsk and Kostyantynivka district prosecutor’s offices, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine added. According to the UN, in May 2025, 183 civilians died in Ukraine as a result of shelling by the Russian army. Almost 900 people were also injured.
