Russians hit a minibus in Kherson in the morning, one dead and one injured

On the morning of June 16, Russians hit a minibus in Kherson with a drone, killing a man and injuring three more people.

As Ukrinform reports, this was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

“At about 08:00, the Russians attacked a minibus in the Korabelny district of Kherson with a drone,” Prokudin noted.

A man died on the spot after being hit by the bus.

Later, the regional military administration reported that three people were also injured as a result of the morning strike by a Russian drone on the minibus.

As noted, a 75-year-old woman and two men aged 66 and 64 were diagnosed with contusions, explosive injuries, and shrapnel wounds to the torso and limbs.

The regional prosecutor’s office previously reported that as a result of this attack, one person received injuries incompatible with life, and among the injured was the bus driver.

According to the investigation, on June 16, 2026, at about 07:50, Russian military personnel dropped explosives from a UAV onto a minibus in Kherson.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime has been launched.

The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, reported that a 25-year-old city resident became the victim of the morning attack by a Russian drone on a minibus.
