As a result of an airstrike by the Russian army on the Zaporizhzhia region on the morning of August 6, two people were killed and 12 more were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.
According to him, the Russians dropped four air bombs on the territory of the region. The strike fell on a recreation center where only civilian adults and children were staying.
A man and a woman were killed, and two children were among the wounded.
He specified that eight victims are currently in hospitals. Namely, a 17-year-old boy in serious condition, who received a mine explosion injury and shrapnel wounds. Also, a 25-year-old woman is in serious condition due to heavy blood loss and hemorrhagic shock.
Fedorov said that the citizens received injuries to the limbs, chest, fractures and acubarotrauma.
He also reported that the authorities provided financial assistance to the victims: 20 thousand UAH for emergency support and 30 thousand UAH for serious injuries.
“Together we are overcoming the consequences of the strike. But the most important thing now is to save everyone who is fighting for their lives,” the official added.
