Russians hit gas station in Sumy: one victim and one injured

On Thursday, April 16, the Russians attacked Sumy. The Russians targeted a gas station.

This was reported by the press center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The Russians hit the gas station with a drone. As a result of the “fly-in”, a civilian car caught fire. Due to the threat of a second attack, rescuers suspended work and retreated to a safe place.

“One person died as a result of the Russian strike on the gas station, another was injured,” the rescuers informed.

The State Emergency Service clarified that Russian troops attacked two gas stations in Sumy during the day. All ignition sources have been eliminated.

FPV drone hits yard in Vilshanka: greenhouse and buildings damaged

On April 16, a Russian FPV drone hit a household in the village of Vilshanka, Sumy district.

The attack damaged a greenhouse, a fence, and a window in a summer kitchen. At the time of the strike, the owners were in the yard — they were not injured.

The information was confirmed by the headman of the Velikochernechny Starostynskyі District Olena Sitalo.
