As a result of Russian attacks on Kharkiv region, civilian infrastructure was damaged, residential buildings and outbuildings were destroyed.
This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor’s office and the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.
On August 22, at about 23:00, Russian troops carried out an air strike on the village of Kivsharivka, Kupyansk district. Residential buildings were damaged, two women were injured.
In total, two civilians were killed and five more were injured as a result of Russian attacks on Kharkiv region. A 61-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman were killed in Kupyansk. A 54-year-old man and women aged 53, 57 and 65 were injured. A 62-year-old woman was injured in the village of Kurganne, Vilhuvatsk community.
The Russians used various types of weapons for the strikes: a guided aerial bomb, a Molniya drone, and two other UAVs (the type is being specified).
Civilian infrastructure was damaged in several areas of the region:
in the Kharkiv district (Prudyanka village), a private house and two outbuildings were destroyed;
in the Kupyansky district (Prykolotne village), an outbuilding was damaged;
in the Izyum district (Nili Solone village), a private house was destroyed.
