Russians hit Kharkiv with Iskander-M missile

The Russian army launched a missile strike on Kharkiv at 11:01 a.m. on December 15. The missile hit the territory of a sports complex in the Kyiv district of the city.

This was reported by the spokesman for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Dmitry Chubenko.

According to him, as a result of the explosion, a crater with a diameter of 20 meters and a depth of about 6 meters appeared at the site.

“Preliminarily, the Russians used an Iskander-M ballistic missile with a penetrating warhead for the shelling. As a result of the explosion, we have one injured woman, she is 48 years old, she has injuries, a closed fracture of her right hand,” he said.

The injured woman was hospitalized.

At the site of the impact, investigators, police officers and forensic experts documented another war crime committed by the Russian military. Investigators have opened criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war.
