On December 25, from 06:00 to 06:30, the Russian armed forces launched a massive strike on Kharkiv and its suburbs, with at least 10 hits recorded. The Saltivskyi, Kyivskyi, Industrial and Nemyshlyanskyi districts were hit. Civilian and critical infrastructure was damaged there, and six people were injured.
Previously, the Russians struck the Saltivskyi district with S-400 missiles, and Nemyshlyanskyi with Kh-35. The exact type of missiles used in the other strikes is currently being established.
An unexploded Kh-59 missile was discovered in Kharkiv. The projectile fell on the territory of a private yard. Explosives technicians are currently working on its disposal.
Despite the fact that the main target of the Russian attacks were thermal and energy facilities, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were also damaged, – noted Chairman Igor Terekhov.
At this moment, damage has been recorded to 74 buildings – 840 windows were broken out. The survey is still ongoing, but experts have already closed about 35% of the circuits.
500 thousand subscribers are currently without electricity in Kharkiv and partly in the region. There is also a problem with heat and water supply in the city – about 520 thousand subscribers are without them. In total, there is no heating in 2,677 houses.
Soon, at about 06:50, the village of Slobozhanske, Chuhuiv district, was attacked by drones. A civilian enterprise was damaged, but no one was injured.
Around 08:30 – Kharkiv was attacked again. A strike UAV hit a private sector in the Osnovyanskyi district. A fire broke out in the house, but no one was injured – no one was there at the time of the impact.
