Russians hit Zaporizhzhia region over 800 times on March 8: three injured, houses and gas station damaged

On March 8, Russian troops launched 805 strikes on cities and villages of Zaporizhzhia region, wounding three people.

This was reported by the National Police of Zaporizhzhia region.

Russian troops attacked Komyshuvakha with guided aerial bombs. A 64-year-old man and an 88-year-old woman were injured as a result of Russian strikes. They were hospitalized.

Russians fired artillery at Orekhovo. A 53-year-old woman was injured as a result of the shelling. She was taken to a headquarters.

In total, Russian troops used 556 drones (mostly FPV) in the Zaporizhzhia region, carried out 6 attacks from multiple rocket launcher systems, 225 from artillery, and 18 strikes from aircraft.

On March 8, the Russian army also fired on Vesel’yanka, Barvinivka, Novoukrainka, Yurkivka, Chervonodniprovka, Bilenke, Mykhailivka, Novooleksandrivka, Shyroke, Lysohirka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Luk’yanivske, Pavlivka, Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Kopani, Zahirne, Hulyaipilske, Charivne, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaki, Novoandriivka, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilogir’ya, Myrne, Svyatopetrivka, Staroukrainka, Zelene, Varvarivka, Novye Zaporizhzhia, Dobropillya in Zaporizhzhia, Vasylivka, and Polohivka districts. In total, the police received 28 reports of destruction of civilian infrastructure. As a result of Russian attacks, apartment and private buildings, outbuildings, vehicles, and a gas station were damaged or destroyed.
