On November 13, in the middle of the day, Russians targeted a factory in the industrial zone of Sumy, after which the authorities recommended that residents close their windows and limit their access to the street.
The Russians attacked the “Polisan” paint and varnish factory.
As a result of the attack, materials at the production site caught fire, and residents can see a thick column of smoke.
No injuries were reported. “The liquidation of the consequences is ongoing,” said the head of the Sumy city military administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko.
Until all the circumstances of the smoke in Sumy after the Russian strike are clarified, the Sumy Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention advised residents to close their windows; limit the time spent outdoors by children, the elderly, and patients with chronic lung diseases; drink more water; and if there is an air purifier, turn it on to maximum.
