Russians in the occupied territories refuse treatment to Ukrainians

Medical services in the occupation are available to holders of Russian insurance, which can be obtained only with a passport of the Russian Federation.

Since the beginning of the year, the Russians in the temporarily occupied territories have been denying treatment to local residents due to their lack of Russian passports. This was reported by the Center of National Resistance.

Treatment in the temporarily occupied territories is currently available only to holders of Russian insurance – which can only be obtained with a Russian passport. As a result, most local residents are denied medical services, with the exception of ambulances in case of critical situations.

Thus, the Center of National Resistance notes, the Russians legally equated the population of the temporarily occupied territories with “foreigners” on their native land.

It was previously reported that due to the shortage of personnel in the temporarily occupied territories, the Russians continue to import medical teams from the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the Center of National Resistance emphasizes that the quality and availability of medical services for the local population is still at a critically low level — in hospitals in the temporarily occupied territories, priority is given to the military of the Russian Federation.
