
According to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on June 24, two demining specialists from the humanitarian organization Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) were killed in Russian shelling of the Vysokopilska community in the Kherson region.
A 24-year-old demining specialist received injuries incompatible with life.
A 25-year-old man later died in the hospital, for whose life the doctors desperately fought, but the injuries turned out to be too severe.
In total, four more specialists were injured as a result of this attack. One of them is in serious condition.
NPA Secretary General Raymond Johansen confirmed the information about the death of two employees.
NPA’s top priority is supporting the wounded and providing assistance in Ukraine. NPA has over 450 employees in Ukraine.
