Russians killed animals in the Kharkiv region with aerial bombs

On May 28, Russian troops killed animals in the Kharkiv region with aerial bombs. This was reported to the prosecutor’s office.

At 4:00 p.m., the Russians struck the Malodanyliva community. The farm caught fire. Livestock died.

“Pigs live here, they suffered. Cows suffered. One hit – in the farm, the second – near the milk production, the third – where the sheep graze. Firefighters arrived on time and managed to put out the fire. A dozen pigs were saved, thanks to the firefighters,” community head Oleksandr Hololobov told Suspilno.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops have caused significant damage to livestock in the Kharkiv region.

Last year, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that 54 livestock enterprises out of 158 that worked in the region before the war were affected by Russian aggression. The following died during the shelling:

  • more than 10 thousand heads of cattle;
  • more than 70 thousand pigs;
  • almost 1000 sheep;
  • more than 30 livestock buildings were destroyed and more than 120 were damaged.

On May 28, around 5:00 p.m., the Russians also carried out airstrikes in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. The facades of several commercial and private buildings were damaged. The golf club was hit.

According to preliminary data, the Russians used UMPB D-30 for the attacks on Kharkov and Malodanylivskaya Roman.

Russian troops also shelled the village of Bugaivka in the Chuguyiv district. The building of the educational institution was on fire.

On May 27, two men were injured during shelling in the village of Zemlyanka, Chuguyiv district.
