Russians launch massive missile attack on Kyiv: homes, offices, and warehouses damaged; injuries reported

Overnight into September 17, Kyiv came under attack by drones and missiles. Residential and non-residential buildings, office premises, and warehouses were damaged across several districts of the capital. The number of injured people rose to 20, including two children.

In the Dniprovskyi district, debris fell at several locations. An office building and a residential building were damaged. Debris also fell on warehouse premises and near a gas station.

At one location, the glazing and facade of a three-story office building were damaged. Windows were blown out in several residential buildings.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a hit on a non-residential building was recorded.

In the Solomianskyi district, a warehouse building was destroyed; there are no reports of fire so far.

Emergency services are working at the sites.

The number of casualties in the capital increased throughout the night.

Following the attack, water supply pressure dropped on the Left Bank and in the Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts.

Specialists are restoring water pressure in the affected areas.
