Russians massively attacked Odessa region with strike drones

On the night of October 13, the Russian army massively attacked Odessa region with strike drones.

This was reported by the head of the Odessa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper.

As a result of the hits, large-scale fires broke out in warehouses with textile products and sewing equipment on an area of over 5,000 square meters. One car also burned down.

The elimination of the consequences of the attack was complicated by the large fire load and the lack of fire-fighting water supply at the facility. Firefighters organized an uninterrupted supply of water from water sources located nearby.

According to preliminary information, one person was injured. As of 8 a.m., work was underway to eliminate the consequences of the attack at the site of the enemy strikes.

According to the Odessa regional prosecutor’s office, a settlement in the Odessa district was under attack.

“As a result of enemy shelling in the village of Avangard, 4 warehouses with textiles and packaging materials were damaged and subsequently set on fire. One civilian was injured in the night attack. A 60-year-old man was injured and hospitalized,” the report says.

Under the procedural leadership of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.
