Russians massively attacked the Kharkiv bypass with FPV drones: one person died

The morning of May 21 in Kharkiv turned into a real hunt for civilians – Russian drones attacked the ring road.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

Within an hour, the Russians launched at least five FPV drones, literally terrorizing drivers and emergency services in this area.

One of the drones hit a MAN truck directly. The blow was fatal – the tractor driver died on the spot, and they are now trying to establish his identity.

Patrolmen were also hit. A Russian drone damaged a police car, but fortunately, there were no injuries among law enforcement officers.

Another UAV fell on the roof of a garage in the Kyivskyi district of the city in the morning. This time there was no explosion, so neither people nor property were seriously injured.

Currently, traffic on the ring road section is blocked – special services are working there to secure the road from possible new attacks.

According to updated information, two police officers were injured as a result of a Russian drone attack on the Ring Road in Kharkiv region.

“The service car of the special police regiment of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region was damaged, which at that time was moving on official business in the direction of the village of Tsyrkuny. As a result of the attack, two police officers were injured. They were hospitalized,” the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv region reports.
