Russians massively attacked Ukraine’s gas infrastructure: four injured

On the night of Thursday, October 16, Russian troops massively attacked Ukrainian gas infrastructure with missiles and attack drones. The Russians also shelled energy facilities.

The department emphasized that there is damage, some facilities have been temporarily taken out of operation. Four gas industry workers were injured as a result of the strikes. Doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance.

Energy facilities were also under attack by the Russians on October 15. Emergency restoration work is ongoing on October 16. Emergency power outages are in effect in Kyiv and nine regions of Ukraine.

Bloomberg reported that Russian strikes on Poltava and Kharkiv regions destroyed 60% of Ukraine’s gas production capacity.

The massive strikes on the energy sector in recent days are just the beginning of a new wave of Russian energy terror.
