“Russian armed forces shelled the mosque of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and his wife Roxolana in Mariupol, which sheltered more than 90 adults and children, including citizens of Turkey”, the Ukrainian Ministry of Health reports on Twitter.
On February 11, advisor to mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko reported on Facebook that 86 citizens of Turkey, including 34 children, were being sheltered at the mosque. “A logical question arises, if Mr. Erdogan knows that Putin can destroy 86 of his citizens right at this moment? And will the leader of the nation be quietly watching the inhuman extermination of Turkish citizens, having only confined himself to the guarantee of meaningless negotiations between Russia and Ukraine”, Andriushchenko wrote the day before.
