On October 30, the Russians shelled one of the cemeteries in the Sumy region. A woman died as a result of the Russian attack.
This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of Sumy Region.
It is known that around 10:00 a.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the Russians launched an airstrike on the civilian infrastructure of the Khota community of the Sumy district. According to preliminary data, the Russians were attacked with a guided aerial bomb.
“The weapon fell on the territory of the local cemetery,” the press service informed.
A 73-year-old woman died as a result of Russian shelling. A 42-year-old man was injured.
The head of the community, Mykolo Toryanyk, informed that the deceased woman was cleaning her son’s grave at that time.
