Russians shelled a market and a church in Vilniansk, Zaporizhzhia region, killing a couple

On Monday afternoon, May 4, the Russians shelled the city of Vilniansk in Zaporizhzhia region. The market and the church were under attack.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration Ivan Fedorov.

According to him, the Russians attacked Vilniansk with drones. They targeted the territory of the market and the church. As a result of the attack, pavilions were destroyed and adjacent buildings were damaged. Fires broke out on the ground, which have already been extinguished.

Also, a couple died as a result of the shelling: a 51-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman. Their 31-year-old son was injured in the lower extremities. He is currently under medical supervision.

Three more women were also injured: 32, 36 and 52 years old. They are receiving medical assistance.
