At about 10:00 on August 31, Russian troops covered the Central district of Kherson with artillery fire. A medical facility was shelled.

“One of the city’s medical facilities was hit. A 54-year-old man was wounded as a result of the shelling. He has a shrapnel wound to the abdomen. Currently, doctors are providing the victim with all necessary assistance,” the report says.
Later, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that the number of people injured as a result of the shelling of the Central district of Kherson had increased to six.
“Five more Kherson residents were injured due to the Russian shelling of the Central District. Men, 36, 47, and 57 years old, were taken to the hospital. They have mine-explosive and craniocerebral injuries and contusions. One of them received shrapnel wounds to the head and shoulder injuries,” the report says.
In addition, the emergency team provided assistance on the spot to two more men, 63 and 69 years old. They refused hospitalization.
In Belozerka, Kherson region, two people were injured as a result of the shelling.
During the day of August 31, 12 people were injured, a resident of the regional center died.
