Russians shelled critical infrastructure in Chernihiv region: there is damage

As a result of another shelling of Chernihiv region, Russian troops damaged an important energy facility in Koryukiv district. This was reported by the press service of Chernihiv Energy on Monday, October 27.

The energy workers noted that emergency and restoration work will begin immediately after the security situation allows it.

The Snovsk city council confirmed that the Russians attacked the community’s critical infrastructure facilities.

“The Russians continue to attack critical infrastructure facilities and test our strength. Today, several enemy flights occurred in the territory of Snovsk region,” the message says.

According to energy experts, as of the morning of October 27, Russian strikes on energy facilities left consumers in several regions without electricity, including Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

It was previously reported that two people were injured in Chernihiv when a Russian drone crashed near a residential building.

Energy experts in the Chernihiv region assure that they are doing everything possible to restore electricity supply as soon as possible after the shelling, but the main issue remains the safety of workers and residents of the community.
