Russians shelled Kharkiv region: one dead and one wounded

On January 5, Russian troops again launched several strikes on the territory of Kharkiv region. As a result of the Russian attack, a 74-year-old man was killed, several people were wounded.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov. He specified that no strikes on the regional center were recorded over the past day.

Instead, the village of Krasnokutska, Bogodukhov district, was shelled. As a result of the “shaheed” hitting the roadway, four private houses and a fence were damaged. Three people were injured: two women aged 59 and 77, and a 33-year-old man, they have an acute stress reaction.

“In the Vilhuvatsky territorial community of the Kupyansky district, Russian shelling with guided aerial bombs was recorded outside the settlement in an open area. In the village of Kivsharivka, Kupyanskyі district, a 74-year-old man died as a result of mortar shelling,” the head of the Kharkiv region specified.

In addition, Synegubov added that on January 4, two Russian attacks took place in the Kharkiv direction in the Starytsia and Vovchansk areas, and the Russians actively involved bomber aircraft.

“Four Russian attacks took place in the Kupyansky direction during the day. The defense forces repelled the Russian assault actions in the direction of Zagryzovye and Petropavlivka,” the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration concluded.
