Law enforcement officers have started an investigation into the fact that Russian troops shelled Kramatorsk on the evening of June 27 with two Iskander missiles.

As the Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin emphasized, “9 dead and 60 wounded. These are the consequences of the double rocket attack on Kramatorsk the day before. Among the dead were three minor girls – 17 years old and two sisters aged 14. Rescue operations are ongoing. It is possible that there are still people under the debris.”
“The shelling with two Iskander rockets was carried out in the evening, when people had just reached home after work. The criminal regime of the Russian Federation continues its terror tactics against peaceful Ukrainians,” Kostin emphasized.
The Prosecutor General assured: “We will find everyone who gives criminal orders and everyone who carries them out. Punishment is inevitable.”
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated on the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war (parts 1, 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Procedural management is carried out by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
On the evening of June 27, Russian troops launched two missile strikes on Kramatorsk. The first hit was at a pizzeria in the center of the city, as a result of which nine people were killed and another 56 were injured. The second hit was in the village of Bilenke.

They were accompanied by the Ukrainian writer Victoria Amelina, who is now in serious condition after being wounded.
On June 27, Russian invaders struck Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, and hit a cafe located in the center of the city. The blast wave also damaged apartment buildings, commercial premises, cars, a post office and other buildings, in which windows, panes and doors were blown out.
The search and rescue operation is ongoing. There may still be people under the rubble. All specialist services are working at the scene of the attack: rescuers, psychologists, police paramedics, explosives technicians, investigators and forensic experts.
Rescuers report that as of 5:00 p.m., the bodies of 11 people, including three children, were unblocked from under the rubble of a cafe in the center of Kramatorsk. Also, 56 people were injured (including one child) and 7 people were rescued.
Psychologists of the State Emergency Service are constantly working at the scene, helping people to recover from what they experienced. Search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
Foreign journalists who visited the cafe destroyed by the Russians in Kramatorsk on the day of the attack said that everyone goes to this establishment: local residents, volunteers, as well as military personnel.
The counter-intelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine announced that it had detained an agent of the Russian special services “in hot pursuit” who had corrected a rocket attack on a cafe. According to law enforcement officers, a local resident was tasked with finding out whether the establishment is open and recording the presence of visitors there.
