Russians shelled five settlements in Donetsk region on December 28. One civilian was killed.
This was reported by the regional department of the National Police.
The department said that over the past 24 hours, the Russians carried out 2,844 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the contact line and settlements.
The cities of Kostyantynivka, Lyman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk and the village of Kotlyne were under fire. As a result of the shelling, 11 civilian objects were damaged, including 9 residential buildings.
Russian troops opened artillery fire on Kostyantynivka, Lyman, Myrnograd and Pokrovsk. Damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded, but, fortunately, there were no casualties.
And in Kotlyne, a civilian was killed as a result of a Russian strike. The police did not specify what the Russians fired at the village.
