Russian soldiers killed two people during an attempt to evacuate from Vovchansk.

According to the regional prosecutor’s office, the Russian military killed two people on May 15 during an attempt to evacuate from Vovchansk. The man was trying to take his sick wife out in a chair when the Russians opened fire on the civilians. The woman and another resident of the city died.

A drone video of a motionless person in a wheelchair appeared online on May 17.

On the same day, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office opened criminal proceedings.

On May 21, the prosecutor’s office published the interrogation of the deceased’s husband. He said that his wife was shot by the Russians.
