On the afternoon of March 11, the Russian military shot construction workers working in the Kupyan district.
It happened in the village of Glushkivka in the Kurilivska Territorial Community, which is located north of Kupyansk, 10 kilometers from the contact line.
“The Russians shot construction workers in the village of Glushkivka. The Kuriliv territorial community was hit with artillery. The shelling took place the day before – three workers of the construction company were injured. Another man died,” Serhiy Bolvinov, head of the Investigative Department of the National Police of the Kharkiv region, said.
Construction workers worked in the field with the involvement of heavy machinery.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the shelling of Hlushkivka took place at 1:40 p.m. A 48-year-old man died, 38-, 45-, and 46-year-old men were injured.
In the Kharkiv region, fortifications are being built along the Ukrainian-Russian border and near the contact line. In 2024, the Government allocated more than 4 billion hryvnias for fortification of the region.
