
On June 1, Russian troops carried out a targeted drone strike on a hospital building in Konotop. The Russian attack damaged the buildings of the medical facility, but fortunately there were no casualties or injuries.
Russian troops struck a city hospital in Konotop in the Sumy region. At the time of the attack, patients and staff were in the medical facility.
This was reported by the chairman of Konotop, Artem Semenikhin.
According to him, the strike was targeted. He denied information about the alleged downing of a drone and emphasized that the Russian drone attacked the hospital building.
Currently, specialized services are working at the scene. The authorities are investigating the extent of the damage, as well as information about possible victims.
Later, it turned out that a hospital employee was injured in the strike. He works as a driver at the medical facility. A man suffered a concussion and acute stress reaction after being hit by a UAV. The injured man was given medical assistance and released home.
