Russians strike Kherson region with drones, civilians injured

On May 17, Russians struck Kherson and Zelenivka in the region with drones, as a result of which four people were injured.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson regional military administration.

It is noted that on May 17, at about 13:00, the Russians struck Zelenivka with a drone, as a result of which a 43-year-old man was injured. He was diagnosed with a mine-explosive and closed craniocerebral trauma, contusion, as well as shrapnel wounds to the lower extremities and chest.

According to local authorities, as a result of this attack, two more people are known to have been injured – a 32-year-old woman with a mine-explosive trauma and shrapnel damage to the leg and a 33-year-old man who received a mine-explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds to the back and legs.

Later, it became known about a drone attack on one of the residential areas of Kherson, as a result of which a woman was injured.

At about 14:50, Russians attacked an elderly woman in the Dnipro district of Kherson with a drone. The 79-year-old Kherson resident was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and an open fracture of the leg,” the report said.

On the morning of May 17, Russian military dropped explosives from a drone in the village of Inhulets, Kherson district, killing a person.
