Russians target educational institution in Kharkiv: there are casualties

During the morning attack on September 16 on Kharkiv, Russian troops targeted a local university.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the regional administration, the Russians attacked the city with several UAVs, some of which were shot down. One of the hits was recorded in the Slobidsky district: the shelling damaged the roof and one of the floors of a two-story administrative building.

Russia hit the administrative building of a pharmaceutical educational institution with a drone.

“This is the technical support department of the information technology center of the pharmaceutical university. All the equipment is here, it’s good that it wasn’t damaged. My workplace, it wasn’t damaged, that’s the main thing, because all the information here is important for work, for the training of our students,” said the center’s specialist Tetyana.

Oleksandr Kukhtenko, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work of the Pharmaceutical University, said that the employees who were inside the building went down to the shelter, so they were not injured.

According to him, one of the university representatives has an acute reaction to stress. The Ministry of Internal Affairs writes about two women injured as a result of the strike on the educational institution.
