Russians want to increase Mariupol port capacity to export stolen grain and metal

The Russians intend to export 12 million tons of stolen grain, metal and coal per year through the Mariupol port. They plan to commission 18 new berths to increase cargo turnover.

The occupation authorities are trying to expand the use of the Mariupol seaport to export stolen resources. This is reported by the Mariupol City Council.

The Russians plan to increase the capacity of the Mariupol port to export stolen grain and metal – the post says.

“The leader of the so-called “DPR” Pushilin announced plans to bring the Mariupol seaport to full capacity in the coming years. The Russians hope to export about 12 million tons per year of metal, coal, grain. Everything that the Russians can steal in the occupied territories,” the city council reports.

According to the city council, the Mariupol seaport has become an element of military logistics and a tool for plundering the occupied territories.

As the Russians reported earlier, to achieve these goals, they intend to put into operation 25 hydraulic structures, including 18 new berths, which will significantly increase the cargo turnover of stolen property.

Earlier, the Mariupol city council reported that the Russians are building bridges near the city to improve logistics with Crimea. The purpose of the construction is to radically improve automobile military logistics in the direction: Rostov-Novoazovsk-Volnovakha-Donetsk.
