Safari on civilians. Russians have fired drones at the Kherson region more than 10 thousand times per year

This year, the Kherson region has been under attack by Russian drones more than 10.3 thousand times. In general, the Russians used all types of weapons against the civilian population of the region.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration: “We have nothing that we would not be fired at. From missiles, “Shaheeds”, guided aerial bombs to drones. This includes artillery, mortars, and even small arms,” the head of the regional military administration said.

The Russians call attacks on the local population using drones “safaris”.

“All this is posted on Russian Telegram channels. They make fun of this, like they kill an old woman at a bus stop or on a bicycle. Or a minibus is just passing by, in which people were going to church on Sunday morning, they drop an explosive device, there are three dead, eight wounded,” said Oleksandr Prokudin.

Later, doctors, rescuers and law enforcement officers who are trying to help the victims come under repeated Russian attacks. Due to UAV attacks, the Kherson region has lost more than 300 ambulances, State Emergency Service and police vehicles, and municipal vehicles.

In the Kherson region, 32 thousand objects were destroyed as a result of shelling. These are 1,300 apartment buildings and 28,700 private houses, 150 schools, 111 kindergartens, 171 healthcare facilities, 114 administrative buildings and other non-military objects.

“Of course, the closer the settlement is to the Dnieper River, the more destruction there is, because the arrivals do not cease. We calculated: every 2 minutes we hear an explosion. Therefore, the greatest destruction is in the Kherson community. Currently, 5,200 such civilian facilities have been damaged or completely destroyed here,” the official noted.
