Saldo issued an order to confiscate empty residential premises in the occupied territories

November 10 the so-called governor of the Kherson region, Saldo, issued an order on the confiscation and nationalization of empty residential premises on the territory of the region.

According to this “document”, heads of local self-government must submit lists of the specified premises to the authorities of the occupation department of the Housing and Communal Economy. Similar premises, at the disposal of Saldo, include:

real estate in which there is no owner, he died or he renounced the right of ownership;

property that no one claims or cannot do so.

The administration of the Russian Federation discovers such housing, and if no one claims it within 10 days (the owner does not appear), then the property is declared “abandoned”. After that, the vacant housing will be handed over to displaced persons “from the war zone” for free use.
