Schools in the occupied territories will start training drone operators from September

In schools in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, in the new academic year, children will be taught how to pilot unmanned aerial vehicles. For this purpose, a new subject will appear in the “educational program”.

According to the Center of National Resistance, starting in September, a new subject will be taught in all schools in the occupied territories — a course on UAV control.

Currently, Russians teach Ukrainian children to pilot drones in specialized groups, but in the new academic year this will be extended to all children.

Considering the fact that there is a shortage of teachers in the occupied territories, UAV piloting lessons will probably be conducted by the Russian military.

The Center of National Resistance emphasized that the actions of the Russian Federation contradict international norms and standards in the field of education, since involvement in such activities violates their right to non-intervention in war and protection from military use.
