“Shahed” attack in Zhytomyr region: drone hits high-rise building in Ozerne, there are victims

On the evening of April 10, a “Shahed” suicide drone hit a high-rise residential building in the village of Ozerne, Zhytomyr region. This was reported by local residents and the head of the Zhytomyr regional military administration, Vitaliy Bunechko.

At around 19:57, information was received about an explosion in a high-rise building, probably caused by a UAV hit. According to preliminary reports from monitoring channels, there are dead and injured people as a result of the attack.

At least 5 houses were damaged.

Unfortunately, one person died, currently 5 victims are known, including a child born in 2011. The victims are in regional hospitals.

Rescuers and an operational-investigative group are working at the scene. A heating and relief facility is being set up in the community. Residents of damaged apartments will receive building materials and necessary assistance to repair the damage.
