On October 28, the Russian UAV “Shakhed” flew critically close to one of the power units of the Khmelnytskyi NPP.
This was reported by the press service of “Energoatom”. The company noted that with the onset of the autumn-winter period, Russian troops are intensifying the energy terror of Ukrainian nuclear power plants, creating new risks for the safe operation of nuclear facilities.
“The Russians deliberately violate the principles of nuclear and radiation safety of the NPP, resorting to open terrorism. This must be stopped as soon as possible, because the consequences can be felt by the entire continent,” emphasized Petro Kotin, head of Energoatom.
