In other areas, the night is free of alarms and attacks. And for the moment it’s calm,” Reznichenko wrote.

The invaders fired from MLRS “Grad” and heavy artillery in the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The occupiers also shell Nikopol almost every night. The city itself is located on the right bank of the Dnieper, and on the opposite side of the river are the already occupied Energodar and Zaporizhzhіa NPP.
Local residents save themselves by simply not spending the night in houses and apartments. In severe frosts, residents of Nikopol are forced to spend every night in shelter.

25 people remain in hospitals, including 3 children.
The councilor added that three children were orphaned as a result of the tragedy. In particular, it is a brother and sister who are in the hospital.
They moved with their parents from Nikopol – fleeing enemy shelling. The children are survived by their grandmother and uncle, who are currently taking care of them.
The parents of a 4-year-old girl also died. The little girl was visiting her grandmother at the time of the explosion. According to Babachenko, now the grandmother is taking out guardianship.
The spokeswoman of the head of the Regional Military Administration noted that 4 of the 18 entrances to the building are unsuitable for living. About 400 people were left homeless.
At the same time, communications are already being restored to the house. As of the morning of January 18, most entrances already have light and heating. There are certain difficulties with the restoration of water supply, but this service is also promised to be returned in a few days.
