Kherson Region is closed to foreigners.

Back in February of this year, some settlements in the Kherson region were closed to foreigners. In particular, we are talking about volunteers, consuls, representatives of international organizations, etc. These rules were introduced after the tragedy with the French volunteers in Berislav.

From February 2024, foreign citizens will not be allowed into dangerous communities without the approval of the regional military administration and military command. In total, we are talking about 53 settlements. These are mostly places where hostilities are taking place or which are in close proximity to the front.
