Shelling of Seredyna-Buda: Police officers rescue man from burning house

On June 5, in the Sumy region, after another Russian missile strike on the residential sector of the city of Seredyna-Buda, law enforcement officers promptly rescued an injured man from a house that was engulfed in fire. This was reported by the Sumy region police.

According to preliminary information, the police received a report that a man who was unable to evacuate on his own might be in one of the houses that was hit by the shelling. Police officers immediately went to the scene of the missile strike.

Arriving at the scene of the fire, the police found that the man had already been taken out of the burning house by caring citizens. The law enforcement officers immediately provided him with first aid and took him to the nearest medical facility on their own motorcycle.

After handing over the victim to the medics, the police, risking their own lives, returned to the scene of the shelling to help other residents of Seredyna-Buda who had been injured by enemy fire.
