Shelling of the cathedral in the center of Kherson: the Russians targeted the rescuers who were eliminating the consequences

The rescuers working at the site of the shelling of the temple and the trolleybus in Kherson came under the target fire of the Russian troops.

This was announced by the head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Serhii Kruk. He noted that the Russians repeatedly struck the cathedral in the center of Kherson, when firefighters were working there, eliminating the consequences of the morning attack.

On the morning of August 3, Russian troops once again shelled the center of Kherson. They beat St. Catherine’s Cathedral. The Russians also hit a trolleybus that people used to go to work. Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, announced this. Three people were injured. Injured passengers were hospitalized. “A 39-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man are receiving medical assistance, an examination is being conducted. A 74-year-old grandfather received severe chest injuries and a closed brain injury, doctors are fighting for his life,” Prokudin noted.
