Shelling of the community of the Mykolaiv region: damage to ecology was estimated at 229 million

In the course of a planned inspection of the Shevchenkiv Territorial Community of Mykolaiv Oblast, it was established that a number of cultural buildings of the community were damaged by shelling. Contamination of land resources with construction waste was detected, the total amount of damages is almost 229 million hryvnias.

This is reported by the State Environmental Inspection of the South-Western District.

The information was transferred to the Operational Headquarters of the State Environmental Inspection of Ukraine.

The State Environmental Inspection reminded that during the period of martial law, one of their tasks is to assess the damage caused to the environment as a result of armed aggression.
