Shelling of the Sumy region border: 33 explosions rang out in five communities at night and in the morning

On March 16, Russian troops carried out 13 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy region.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this: “On the night and morning of March 16, the Russians carried out 13 shellings of the border territories and settlements of the Sumy Region. 33 explosions were recorded. The communities of Velikopysariv, Bilopol, Esman, Yunakiv, and Svesk came under fire.”

As noted, the Russians shelled the Velykopysarivsk community with anti-aircraft guns (14 explosions), mortars (5 explosions), and anti-aircraft fire from a tactical aircraft (4 explosions).

Mortars (3 explosions) hit Bilopolsk community.

Small arms fire and mortar fire (2 explosions) were recorded in the Esman community.

The Russians dropped 2 mines on the Yunakivsk community.

There was mortar shelling (2 explosions) in Sveska hromada.
