Shostka in Sumy region was under air attack by Russians on the night of July 15, which resulted in damage to a medical facility and residential buildings. The Russians used strike UAVs and high-speed targets, which were warned about by the Air Force.
One person was injured as a result of the attack, the extent of the damage and the elimination of the consequences are being clarified.
Closer to the morning, the Sumy regional military administration reported on the consequences of the attack.
The air alert in Sumy region was declared at 15:36 on July 14. Since then, the region has been subjected to several enemy air strikes.
One of them occurred at around 1 am. The Air Force then reported a high-speed target on Shostka, probably S-300 or S-400 missiles. There was also a threat from strike drones.
At 03:43, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleg Grigorov, reported on social networks that on the night of July 15, the Shostka community was again attacked. And, unfortunately, it has consequences.
In particular, the building of a medical institution, apartment buildings and private houses were damaged. It is preliminary known about one injured person. The scale of the destruction is currently being clarified, the elimination of the consequences is ongoing.
This is not the first time that the Russians have attacked Shostka, even in the past few days. On the night of July 14, two men died in the Shostka community as a result of UAV strikes and guided aerial bombs, and dozens of residential and non-residential buildings were damaged. And on the evening of July 12, there were at least 5 explosions there, which injured several people.
