Shot in his own yard: Zaporizhzhia police investigate the murder of a man by Russians

Zaporizhzhia police are looking for witnesses to the brutal murder of a civilian in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.

We are talking about Ruslan Onyshchenko, born in 1980. His body with gunshot wounds was discovered on May 18, 2023 in the yard of his own house in the village of Kopany, Polohivskyi district, Zaporizhzhia region.

According to preliminary data, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who were at that time in the occupied territory of the region, may be involved in the murder of a civilian. The tragedy occurred directly near the man’s place of residence, which indicates the possible intentional nature of the crime against the civilian population.
